Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support our local Dallas, TX clients. These opportunities vary from project-based to full-time open positions. This is a general application. Positions can vary in pay, location, (DFW Metro) and scheduled depending on client requirements. Please submit your resume for consideration.

Summary:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and maintaining financial records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, verify, and process invoices and expense reports.
  • Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts for accuracy.
  • Enter and maintain vendor information in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and execute payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) on schedule.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
  • Assist with month-end closing and provide support for audits.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel required).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
  • Familiarity with GAAP and basic accounting principles.
